Apple-Peach Cider Recipe
With cooler fall nights just around the corner, here's a delicious hot Smartfruit beverage to snuggle up with and read a good book or watch a movie with your family. What's fun about this recipe, other than the fact you need very few ingredients and that it's super easy to make, is that you can make this a cocktail or leave the alcohol out. 📝 Ingredients:
- 4-5 Cups Apple Juice
- 4-6 oz Smartfruit Perfect Peach
- 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
- 3 oz. spiced rum (optional)
- Cinnamon sticks and a Whole Anise Star for Garnish and extra flavor
🍶 Preparation:
- In a small pot heat the apple juice, Smartfruit Perfect Peach, spices and rum (if using) over low/medium heat. Stir often while the mixture is heating so the spices will blend into the juice (you don't want any spice clumps)
- Carve out 2 large and symmetrical apples into 4 halves (as shown in photo). The larger the apples are, the more fluids they contain
- Once it's hot pour into apple "cups" and garnish with anise star and cinnamon sticks. Serve warm
